Marketing campaigns for The Northern Forest have proclaimed that the M62 will be transformed into a dense woodland and ecological rich corridor.
What actually is happening is lots of housing developments acting as commuter villages. These villages have little if non trees incorporated into their scheme and hard landscaping dominates all attempts at soft.
